Director's Message

 

Dear Members and Guests!

I cannot tell you how excited the board and I are to be leading you in 2008, in our 20th year. My vision as your president is to grow WNOCC to new heights. It is extremely important to me, that this year we listen to the membership. What do you want more of? What do you want to see less of? What types of speakers would you like to hear from?

We have happily re- implemented a member’s table, a table for you to be able to put out your business cards, flyers or other important information for other members and guests to view. A suggestion box will now be available at each meeting, giving you the opportunity to let the board know what suggestions you have for us. In turn, we promise to read each and every suggestion and implement as many suggestions that we feel we can.

Our organization is about networking. Helping women in business grow their business. One-to-one meetings in between our monthly meetings is the best way we can all make the most of the contacts we have made within our WNOCC family. We have a phenomenal group of women that belong to our organization! We can all learn so much from each other with the knowledge that we have to share, but only if we can take the time and learn to listen to each other. We are not about pushy sales tactics, we are not about “what can you do for me”, but rather; “how can I help your business grow? What is a good referral to you?” In return, that person should find out the same about you, and before you know it… referrals will be passing and we will all have more business through referrals because we have all expanded our own sales force by tapping into each other.

Your board is committed to standing strong as a united front to represent you, our members. We want to make sure that all members are networking by using ethical, professional practices Together we can make WNOCC a stronger networking force than it ever has been before.
