A Joint Venture
 
While most of us know, rationally, that there are any number of areas in which we do extremely well, few of us are able to escape moments of self-doubt.  When our confidence slips, as a rule, so does our functioning.  We can find examples of this in performance anxiety, agoraphobia, claustrophobia, and a long list of other anxieties and phobias. One of the characteristics of people who succeed is that they are able to acknowledge their trepidation and move past it.  Some of us can handle this on our own, some seek professional help, and some receive their confidence boosters from others who are, or have been, in the same boat.
